So after being unemployed for six months now, we’ve done everything we can do to cut corners. We’ve always been as frugal as possible when it comes to grocery shopping but we’ve cut back in terms of eating out as well. Instead of ordering a pizza, I’ve been making my own and for a fraction of what it would cost from Domino’s, Illiano’s or Frank Pepe’s....
Nice, productive day… I took down all the Christmas decorations and stripped the tree bare yesterday. Today I took down the tree, put the dining room table back together and cleaned up the needles (even with an artificial tree there are still needles to vacuum.) After that I made some home made pizza for dinner and spent the rest of the zombified in from of the TV, playing Madden ‘11...

So, instead of actually having any real ideas or desire to actually govern the GOP simply wants to undo what the Democrats have accomplished…
Got a phone call from my doctor. My PSA went from 1.something last year to 5.something this year, so he’s referring me to a Urologist. Yippee! I’m so lucky that I will get physical prostate checks twice as often now… :-/

Feeling sleepy and more than a little loopy, but it’s better than being sore all over and suffering from an aching back.
I am not usually one to make resolutions (except not to make any resolutions,) but now that I am in my 40’s and my doctors are all but yelling at me to lose weight (my cardiologist wants me to drop 100 lbs.) I am going to make a concerted effort to be more active and try and reign in my sweet tooth.
